Last Saturday was very busy for Maya and her neighbors. They had an important event at the community center.
Early in the morning, Maya had to arrive at 8 a.m. to help organize the chairs and tables. She also had to prepare materials for the workshop.
Tom was supposed to bring the snacks, but he forgot them at home. Julia and Ben were supposed to decorate the room before the guests arrived, but they came late.
Later, Maya had to welcome the visitors and give instructions. She also had to solve a problem with the sound system.
At the end of the day, Tom was supposed to clean the kitchen, but he had to leave early. The volunteers were supposed to stay until 6 p.m., but many of them left before that.
