Definition and Use
Los demostrativos this, that, these y those se utilizan para señalar personas o cosas dependiendo de:
- Si están cerca o lejos
- Si son una o varias
SINGULAR · CERCA
THIS
Significado: este / esta
Uso: Se usa para hablar de una cosa cercana.
Ejemplos:
- This is my book.
- This is a dog.
PLURAL · CERCA
THESE
Significado: estos / estas
Uso: Se usa para hablar de varias cosas cercanas.
Ejemplos:
- These are my shoes.
- These are apples.
SINGULAR · LEJOS
THAT
Significado: ese / esa
Uso: Se usa para hablar de una cosa lejana.
Ejemplos:
- That is my house.
- That is a car.
PLURAL · LEJOS
THOSE
Significado: esos / esas
